We received the final travel document last Thursday. This important piece of paper is called the "Notice of Coming" (also known as the Travel Approval) , essentially it is a formal invitation to travel to China to adopt Mary. I've included a picture of the top portion of our document above.
We've been busy these past couple of weeks organizing our paperwork, lugging out the suitcases and pondering what to pack and what to leave behind. It will be a bit different this time as we are traveling in fall/winter weather this time, so we are trying to pack clothes that we can layer. We're a bit lucky in that locally we are experiencing the same temperatures, so it should be easy to decide which jackets and sweaters to bring with us.
Only 10 more days before we leave!
so exciting...she's getting closer!!! You should buy one of those kids digital cameras for Sylvie and Mary to play with...I bet they would have fun with that!

ReplyDeleteHere's a 'heads up' - no knowing your tech skill set - China has beefed up security and unless you set up e-mail posting you won't be able to access blogspot to post blogs. So either set up e-mail posting or find someone in the US that you can e-mail posts to so they can post them for you!
